Carmel McCarthy selected eighteen letters for transcribing from the collection. Seventeen of the letters were written from Clonburrin House near the village of Fenagh in Co Carlow by various members of the Fryer family.

Poems, published and unpublished, by Judith Rodriguez, most typescript, some printouts from computer, most have handwritten month and year of creation, some with publication details, some with handwritten emendations.
