Name of creator
Salvatore (Ted) D'Urso was born in Italy in 1928. He came to Australia in 1931. He appointed senior lecturer in the Department of Education, University of Queensland, in 1970 ; retired in 1993. He was active in the UQ Radical Club in the 1940s, founder of the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament in Australia in the early 1960s, supporter for the rights of Queensland school students in the 1970s. He died 16 June 2022.
