Correspondence, reports and diaries for the University of Queensland Bushwalking Club (UQBWC). There are thirteen Annual reports, including the the first annual report from 1950 which records the formation of the club. There are documents, correspondence, and reports relating to the Mt Barney Hut that the club constructed as well as field trip notes (mostly from trips at Mt Barney). Two diaries of outings and activies for 1994 and 1995 are present. Three folders contain content relating to clubs which shared members with the UQBWC: the University of Queensland Rockclimbers Club (now the University of Queensland Mountain Club), the Brisbane Bushwalkers Club and the Brisbane Rockclimbing Club.

The twelve page preface includes notes on grammar and pronunciation, pronunciation of letters, and grammar of the Yugumbir, Yugarabul and Wakka languages. A railways map of south east Queensland has beeen coloured by Watson to show the lingual divisions and has the date of 1939.
