Diaries

The first two diaries and journals cover the period between 1940 and 1944, from the time Gordon worked at Broken Hill South Ltd. to his war service in Australia and New Guinea from March 1941. The other two diaries are an account of Gordon’s ‘Voyage to England’ in 1950, containing his first impressions of that country; and an account of a ‘Holiday in Spain and Mallorca' in 1953.

Typescripts

Two bound typescripts of largely unpublished short stories, the first titled Tales Natural and Supernatural (ca.1944) and the second Goodbye to Elliott and Other Stories (ca.1947). The second typescript is mainly a redrafting of the first.
