System of arrangement
Each job and any successive jobs for the same site have been allocated a single File. A File may consist of one or more physical folders or tubes. For example, File 2 comprises drawings from three separate jobs relating to the Queensland Performing Arts Centre at South Brisbane. This File consists of 1148 drawings housed in 24 physical folders.
The title of each File indicates the job name and job numbers assigned by Robin Gibson and Partners.
The Files are not in chronological order but retain the storage arrangement used by the practice. The jobs with the largest number of drawings, such as the South Brisbane Cultural Centre precinct and St Stephen's Cathedral, are found at the beginning of the series.
