Two postcards (called canvassing cards in the handwritten biographical note) for Francis Lister Hopkins announcing his move from Sydney to Toowoomba.

One card has an oval shaped black and white portrait picture of Mr. F. Lister Hopkins "Elocutionist (from the studio of Mr. Lawrence Campbell, Sydney), who will be settling in Toowoomba shortly".

The second card has an oval shaped black and white picture with the word "Comedy" directly underneath and beneath that "Photo of a new artist who will be settling in Toowoomba shortly More Anon."

The cards are accompanied by biographical notes (2 pages) by his granddaughter, Ellen Jordan.

This collection dates from 1973 to 2020 and includes documents, papers, drawings, sketches, notes, correspondence, photographs, slides, tapes, maquettes, newsletters and published works, amongst other item types. They largely relate to stone and bronze works but also relate to ceramic, fiberglass, steel, leather and wood work. They reflect works undertaken for numerous clients including the University of Queensland, the Queensland Government, Queensland private schools, hospitals, hotels, institutions and individuals. Clients also include governments and private institutions and individuals from outside of Queensland. While most of the items relate to works undertaken in Queensland, they also relate to works undertaken in other Australian states and territories and other countries including, the Australian Capital Territory, Tasmania and Hong Kong, amongst others. Includes an original drawing and signature from Harold Parker in a 'friendship book' from the Parker family, dated 1907 to 1910.

Architectural drawings and photographs of residential, commercial, government, industrial, health, education, religious and tourism buildings, as well as various other building types, in Brisbane, the Gold Coast and other locations throughout Queensland. Some projects to which the drawings and photographs relate include the Butterfly House in the South Bank Parklands, Cathedral Square, St Andrew's War Memorial Hospital, Admiralty Towers, Chinatown in Fortitude Valley and Park Avenue South Bank.

Manuscripts, notebooks, correspondence, research notes, literary awards, publishing contracts, diaries, drafts of speeches, some Astley family history material. Includes two portable Hermes typewriters: green, in case 7 x 29 x 31 cm; and cream, in case 8 x 31 x 32 cm.

Includes poems, articles, draft article, post card and photographs. Handwritten, some signed; typescripts; and pictures.

This series is comprised of realia given to Bruce Green from the University of Queensland.

Includes information under the title 'Liberals are bad for your health'. States 'Authorised by Pregnancy Control (521444), Women & Health Group (C/- 2295922) and Children by Choice (3715477).

Two-sided mass-produced postcard. The front side of the postcard states 'Children by Choice. Abortion: a woman's health right' on a black and white graphic design. The backside includes a typescript letter to the Queensland Minister for Health. The item states 'Front cover designed by Linda Caroli'. Undated, but '1996' is written on the back of the postcard in pencil.
