Invitation (poster) and dance card for a dance held in the Engineering Drawing Office, 26 July 1930. Dance card includes names penciled in on the engagements page and on the back, including Dot [Dorothy] Hill and Gordon Berg.

Three scrapbooks containing newspaper cuttings relating to Charles Dickens. Newspapers include Daily Chronicle, Daily Express, Sunday Dispatch, The Daily Telegraph and more from Great Britain. Many cuttings are annotated, in red ink, with newspaper title and date of article. Some pages have handwritten passages from books and articles. Creator of scrapbooks is unknown.

Letter, handwritten, on Government House letterhead, from Queensland Governor John Goodwin to Miss Roe, praising her bird booklet (A back-answer), dated 19 Dec 1981; accompanied by card wishing the best for Christmas and the New Year with an etching (of birds) done by Goodwin.

4. Handwritten and colour illustrated manuscript of 'El Dorado : Virginibus Puerisque. Robert Louis Stevenson', 'Roe' is on the last page, 'El Dorado R.L.S.' is on the front cover, [10] pages, 32 x 22 cm, undated.
