Administrative history
Located in Stanley Street, South Brisbane, on the opposite side of the Victoria Bridge to the Cremorne, the theatre was built c1912. It presented variety shows, vaudeville and later boxing and wrestling matches. During the late 1920s Greater Brisbane Amusement held the lease and its policy was to keep the theatre closed so that it would not compete with the neighbouring Cremorne Theatre. The Brisbane Repertory Theatre Society occassionaly performed there, but the theatre closed down by 1935.
