Themes and causes represented include: world peace, anti-uranium mining, Aboriginal land rights/sacred sites, protection of the environment, disarmament (including many 'Hiroshima Day' posters), Greenpeace, FOE (Friends of the Earth), MAUM (Movement Against Uranium Mining), and the alignment of women's groups and churches with these causes. Also present are posters calling for attention to youth and disabled housing, Timorese refugees, prisoners of conscience, and women's rights.

Strike Fraser out

Circular orange badge with slogan 'Strike Fraser out' in black. At the 50,000-strong protest in Melbourne in November 1975 the Socialist Workers' Action Group sold over 600 copies of the new paper and hundreds of badges with their slogan “STRIKE FRASER OUT”.

Circular black badge with slogan 'Shame Fraser, shame' in white. The badge was worn by supporters of the Australian Labor Party during the 1975 election campaign. The campaign was fought against the background of the dismissal of the Whitlam Government which saw Malcolm Fraser lead the caretaker Liberal/National Country Party Government.
