Compiled by Greg Weir during twenty years of political activism, the collection records the public debate on gay and lesbian issues, homosexual law reform, introduction of anti-discrimination legislation, the growth of gay awareness, AIDS, the links between gay issues and political change. Also vol. 7 contains a small amount of material about the peace movement and the Australian Labor Party. Weir's comprehensive indexes to the files are bound in a separate volume.
Accompanied by 184 35mm slides, depicting posters collected by Weir over approximately 25 years, which relate to rallies, events and other activities related to his interests. Also folder containing 3.5inch floppy discs with WordPerfect files of indexes.
