Biographical history

Charles Schindler was a foundation student of the University of Queensland: B.A. 1915, M.A. 1918; Lecturer, Department of French, 1915 to1948; appointed Associate Professor of Modern Languages 1947; retired 1948 Thereafter he lived in New Guinea, where he established a small school at Aiyura in which he taught until the last years of his life.
