Biographical history

Susanna de Vries is an art historian and lectures for the Continuing Education Department of the University of Queensland. Born in London, she studied art history, literature and history at the Sorbonne in Paris and the University of Madrid. An Australian citizen since 1975, Susanna de Vries has written extensively on European and Australian art and history and on the history of women. She was made a Member of the Order of Australia in 1996
