The collection is comprised of press clippings, letters, postcards, catalogues, drawings, photographs, and personal papers. Photographs and negatives taken by Mobsby include: the Franco-British Exhibition in London in 1908; the visit of Duke and Duchess of York to Brisbane in 1927; Fireworks of the 1901 Federation Celebration; aerial photographs of Brisbane; the British Empire Exhibition 1924 to 1925; and Australian Pavilion, Panama Pacific International Exposition; photographs while working for the Intelligence and Tourist Bureau (Brisbane) of 'Queensland views of Rosewood and Stanley Districts' from 1908 and 'Queensland views of Central District' from 1980
