Two copies of 61 typescript leaves, bound by The University of Queensland Library. One copy contains the original typescript (identified as 'Copy A'), the other contains a copy of the original (identified as 'Copy B'). They are comprised of copies of letters, newspaper articles and reports complied by Thomas Welsby relating to the 1856 Spanish shipwreck on Facing Island, Queensland. The letters, newspaper articles and reports date from 1901 to 1914. They originate from the Department of Lands (Sydney), The Sydney Morning Herald, the Australian Historical Society and other private individuals.
