The first photograph, taken around 1963 during a road trip through Victoria, shows author Lee Pattinson using a typewriter set up on the open boot of her car while parked on the side of the road. The second, taken in 1999 in Brisbane, shows authors Meredith Webber, Helen Bianchin, Lynsey Stevens and Anne Charlton.
