New Left Group (1969-1972).
Objectives - To end war and improve society. Publicists - Peter Arnott, Dick Copeman, Brian Costar, Frank Varghese, John Wilkinson, Rod Yeates.
Notes: The Group was formed in December 1969 by members of the University of Queensland Labor Club. It was most active in 1970 and 1971 on the issues of Vietnam, conscription and apartheid. It was based on the University of Queensland campus.
