English-born architect John Morton arrived in Brisbane in 1957 and became part of the firm Lund Hutton Newell Black and Paulsen, eventually becoming a partner. He designed a number of heritage-listed high rise apartment blocks for the firm, including Kinkabool in Surfers Paradise, and Glenfalloch in New Farm.
