Letter to Margaret Connah, Editor of 'Scope' re his work continuing the family genealogy and history begun by his farther Henry Tardent. Also mentions many old friends from Brisbane in the 1920s and later. Accompanied by newspaper article on him from the gold Coast Bulletin, 10 November 1978 about his life, his time as a soldier during World War 1 and his theory on the death of the 'Red Baron' and various cuttings on the Tardent family.

The original from which these sheets were photocopied, contains some hundreds of pages of verse. These leaves were selected at random as illustrating a general level of taste in latter 19th century in Australia.
