Brief: Concept for a tourist destination sugar mill experience, with an emphasis on the history of steam power and an economic boost to the area; as well as education on the principles and creation of a sustainable future in a fluctuating sugar market. The mill site was to be expanded to include a small village with a focus on tourism, retail, working steam museum, river tours and refurbishment of the abandoned short rail line to Murwillumbah.
