Correspondence, memoranda, notes, schedules of fees, budgets, costings, copies of contracts and planing briefs relating to the Queensland Cultural Centre project located on Melbourne Street along the banks of the Brisbane River at South Brisbane. This file includes documents relating to the Cultural Centre development as a whole, as well as specfic stages and components, including the Queensland Museum, Queensland Art Gallery, Queensland Performing Arts Complex and the State Library of Queensland.

Administrative records relating to architectural design and consultancy jobs undertaken by Robin Gibson and Partners. Records include correspondence, design briefs, specifications, copies of contracts, costings, concept sketches, architectural drawings, reports, submissions and some photographs. Major projects documented in this series include the successive stages of the Queensland Cultural Centre, the Queensland Conservatorium of Music at South Bank, restoration of and extensions to St Stephen's Cathedral, and the Australian Parliament House design competition. The series also contains files of newspaper and journal articles relating to Brisbane architecture and projects for which Robin Gibson and Partners was responsible.

Architectural drawings, job files, photographs, renderings, correspondence and awards relating to the architectural practice of Robin Gibson and his firm Robin Gibson and Partners. The largest component of the collection consists of architectural drawings and associated job files created by Gibson's practice. Most of the items in the collection were created by Gibson and his partners and staff. Other creators are named when their identity is known.

Manuscript book of paste-ups for Cities in the Sun, which was published as a book in 1964. This was the result of the Royal Australian Institute of Architects (RAIA) Sisalkraft Research Scholarship awarded in 1963, in which Trotter spent three months in subtropical regions of the world to develop knowledge relevant for Brisbane architecture and climate.
