Architectural drawings, job files, photographs, renderings, correspondence and awards relating to the architectural practice of Robin Gibson and his firm Robin Gibson and Partners. The largest component of the collection consists of architectural drawings and associated job files created by Gibson's practice. Most of the items in the collection were created by Gibson and his partners and staff. Other creators are named when their identity is known.

Papers and architectural drawings created by Roman Pavlyshyn in the course of his career. Includes student work, work created while employed by Karl Langer and the Queensland Works Department as well as work created in private practice. This includes a large number of projects for the Ukrainian community, including ecclesiastical and private commissions. The papers also include private papers, photographs (174 photographs, 26 negatives), a few publications and a work of art by Irene Amos.

The collection has 474 architectural drawings by Graeme Thiedeke from his time working as a student in the 1960s, to his work in Canada, Mexico, Malayasia, United Arab Emirates and Australia. Thiedeke has provided details for most of these plans which includes the name of the client, the brief from the client and historical information about the building. There are supplementary documents to the jobs Graeme Thiedeke worked on, which includes drawings, articles, presentation sets, architectural plans, photographs of architectural plans and photographs. Thiedeke has been writing while working as an architect and there sample of books created by him. The topics are far ranging and include philosophy, poetry, short stories, and various architectural projects.

Architectural drawings

This series is comprised of architectural drawings from the practice of Russell Hall Architects. It includes drawings for residential, retail, commercial, mixed use, heritage, and industrial designs. Most of the designs are in Queensland, with some from Halls' time in Papua New Guinea. Titles of plans are generally taken from the title block in the architectural drawings. Not all drawings have title blocks. In some cases the architect has provided a title and/or description on scrap paper (which has been discarded). Not all drawings have job numbers. When dates are not provided an estimated date or range of dates has been provided. It is comprised of: 1709 drawings, 31 photocopied drawings, 1 cover sheet, 1 printed image, 18 artistic sketches.

Designs include: Varitomos Buildings in West End; the heritage listed Carpenter-Hall house in Wilston; Camp Island Lodge; the windmills in Toowoomba; Rialto Theatre Redevelopment; and Hall House, Mons.

Project summaries

The file comprises summaries for the contents that were in the boxes of architectural plans Graeme Thiedeke sent to the Fryer Library as well as descriptions about each project. Summaries that accompanied the rolls of plans are in this file.

This series has one book and one folder with a lists of projects by projects by project number; a presentation spiral bound booklet of 'Preliminary working Drawings for the Proposed Tustin Windmill Reconstruction'; and presentation, spiral bound booklet of 'Preliminary Investigation into the development of a tourist resort on the island of Samarai, Milne Bay Province, Papua New Guinea'.
