Numerous certificates for meritorious architectural work, a Diploma in Architecture from The University of Queensland, certificates of election as an Associate, Fellow and Life Fellow of the Royal Australian Institute of Architects (RAIA), and as an Associate of the Royal Institute of British Architects, and a certificate of appointment as an Officer in the General Division of the Order of Australia (AO).

Photographic negatives, slides and prints relating to architectural jobs and competitions in which Robin Gibson was involved. The series also contains a framed portrait photograph of Robin Gibson. Richard Stringer is identified as the photographer of some of the photographs. In most cases the photographer is not identified.

Architectural drawings

Architectural drawings relating to government, educational, residential, commercial and ecclesiastical jobs undertaken by Robin Gibson and Partners throughout the life of Gibson's practice in Brisbane. While the vast majority of the drawings are the work of Gibson, his partners and staff, some drawings were created by engineering firms and architectural artists commissioned by Gibson.

Job files

Administrative records relating to architectural design and consultancy jobs undertaken by Robin Gibson and Partners. Records include correspondence, design briefs, specifications, copies of contracts, costings, concept sketches, architectural drawings, reports, submissions and some photographs. Major projects documented in this series include the successive stages of the Queensland Cultural Centre, the Queensland Conservatorium of Music at South Bank, restoration of and extensions to St Stephen's Cathedral, and the Australian Parliament House design competition. The series also contains files of newspaper and journal articles relating to Brisbane architecture and projects for which Robin Gibson and Partners was responsible.

Artworks by asylum seekers

Sewing projects, patterns and dolls created by asylum seekers while held in detention on Naru and put on display in the exhibition And everyone was an optimist at the gallery Gabrielle Pizzi in 2005. Four satin covered cakes of soap.
53 pillows created for exhibition Sewing all the way to here at Shepparton Art Gallery in 2006.

Photographic material

This series is comprised of 38 x 35 mm colour negatives of a doll placed on a chair; 1 transparency, 8 x 5 cm, of a person with two dogs; 3 x 35 mm black and white negatives of a couples at a formal event; and 1 black and white photograph, 12 x 8 cm, of a child; 2 black and white transparencies with a note 'Nev and Heather a OPAL Conference'; 1 colour photograph with very faint writing on reverse that says 'Mrs Murphy' and in pen 'Taken by Francis [indecipherable] of London. All photographs are undated.
