Letters from Stan to Marjorie McCosker in 1941 after she was evacuated from New Guinea to Australia, a letter from Stan McCosker to Walford King, and a letter from Marjorie to Francie King. The file also contains instructions dated 30 May 1940 from the Commanding Officer of the New Guinea Volunteer Rifles listing the personnel to escort enemy internees from Rabaul to Sydney. Stan McCosker is named as one of the seven members of the escort.

Many of the photographs feature Stan and Marjorie McCosker and local people employed as plantation labourers and house servants. The majority of the photographs were taken in the 1920s and 1930s. A small number were taken at Matala Plantation in 1948.
