This volume of plans appears to be a photocopy of Item 1; it has a grainy appearance. The main difference between this item and item 1 is there are extra 'Bending list' numbers on some of the plans and they appear to have been handwritten additions. One volume of plans titled J.D. Story Administration Building, University of Queensland : Stage 2. Held together with three metal paper binders with washers. On front cover and in title block on all drawings, creators are: University Architect, J. P. Birrell and Consulting Structural Engineer, Antony Tod.

Some drawings have a second version. Drawings 1, 2, 10, 21 and 41 are missing. On the cover there are titles for 40 drawings, however there is a drawing number 41A that appears to belong to this volume. Drawings date from Mar to Jun1964. Drawings of the Senate Room on the fifth floor are from after the initial submission to the Australian Universities Commission (A.U.C.) was rejected. The A.U.C. were not in favour of the Senate House.

This drawing is almost the same as the drawings that appear in Stage 1. It has stage 1 job no. i, with the title block client as the University of Queensland and the architect as J.P. Birrell as University Architect. (See UQFL117-Series A-Subseries 13-File 2-Items 9-10]. It appears that this drawing was reused, with a new date of Sep 1969, on tracing paper, and with no colour. It has mistakely labeled Stage 4 as Stage 3 (which is corrected in pencil) and Stage 5 is labeled as 'Future'.
