The book is the result of a collaboration between poet Jill Jones and the poet/artist Angela Gardner, and is based on an exchange of poems sent between Australia and the United Kingdom in October and November, 2003. The postcards and cover were digitally produced as an artists book by Angela Gardner. Includes two unidentified and undated newspaper cuttings: "Rhodes scholar is an N.C.O." and "Rhodes scholar released"; and a letter concerning undelivered mail from the Post Office.

Typescript of article "Pearl Gatherers of the Torrens [sic] Strait Islands" which is a short account by Jean Williams of the development of the Pearling Industry from 1863 in North Queensland. Includes list of vessels which were used in the period 1860-1870s, giving their description, type and Master's name. Accompanied by three sepia toned photographs of soliders, Torres Strait Islanders on Moa Island, and two Papua New Guinean women from the Omati River.
