Rescue the rainforests : write now!
A postcard with with supplementary information on rainforests and the threats to their preservation on a card extension, with a line of perforation between the two so that the postcard section can be detached. The cover picture on the postcard is of ferns with the line "Rescue the rainforests", and when folded, the edge of the extension adds "Write now!", in italics, to this line. The postcard is addressed to the "Mr Joh Bjelke-Petersen, Premier of Queensland", and the photograph is credited to Colin Totterdall. There is space for a personal message, and a square on the top right-hand corner for a stamp to be added.

Tropical rainforest - the last chance.
Brochure on the condition of the Daintree area in North Queensland, and a proposal to expand the area which has National Park status. It includes coloured photographs of the area and local fauna, and a map showing existing and proposed National Park boundaries. The far right quarter has a vertical dotted line to indicate that it should be detached, and spaces for a person to fill in personal information and donation pledges and return to the Australian Conservation Foundation.

Includes photographs from the early 1970s and a T-Shirt depicting a caricature of Sir Joh Bjelke-Petersen; material from various groups, including Queensland Democracy Support Group, Queensland Civil Liberties Co-ordinating Committee and trade unions calling for action against the Bjelke-Petersen Government during the 1985 SEQEB dispute; material from the Queensland Solidarity Group and Queensland Civil Liberties Co-ordinating Committee relating to Civil liberties and the banning of street marches in Queensland, 1976 to 1992.
