The proposed Chemistry Annex was to be situated along Circular Drive (now Staff House Road) sitting in a small vacant piece of land adjacent to two wings of the Chemistry building, beside the bookshop, about where the current Global Change Institute sits. These three plans are of the existing chemistry building and are dated, 3rd, 5th and 7th October 1964.

The bulk of the slides and photographs in these albums relate to the book Walter Burley Griffin by James Birrell. There are a few photographs of works by James Birrell. These photographs or copies of photographs may date from before Birrell began researching for his book but were collated by Birrell in the 1960s.

The construction of Stage 5 commenced in Jan 1973 and was completed Mar 1974. This file has the sketch plans for stage five of Union College. From the title block creator is James Birrell & Partners (Architects and Town Planners). All are ink line drawings on tracing paper. The drawings are:

Two almost identical volumes for stage 2 of the J.D. Story Administration Building by J.P. Birrell and Antony Tod. The difference between the two is the additional numbers on the second copy for the 'Bending lists'. These are the structural architectural plans for the building with two Ref numbers: 1822 and 1066. One plan from March 1966 for hanger rods for the air conditioning platform.

One volume of 47 plans for the J.D. Story Administration Building, The University of Queensland and 3 drawings. All have the Reference no. 1066 in the title block.

B66 (for Stage 4) but appear to be plans for work on stage 4 to be completed during stage 5.
