The original Bolands Centre (which was heritage listed in 2006) was built in 1912-1913 on the corner of Lake and Spence Streets in Cairns. In 1936-1937 the store was extended to the east (along Spence Street). This two-storey extension was designed by Vibert McKirdy Brown. This file consists of thirteen architectural plans for that extension.

M. Brown. A.R.A.I.A. Architect. Cairns. 28/6/37". Edge Hill is a suburb of Cairns. Unable to verify if this was constructed.

Blueprint of plan for proposed new Jack and Newell Store in Mossman. Plan comprises: Elevations (Front, Sides and Rear), Section Line X-X and Section Line A-A. Scale: eight feet to one inch. Possibly signed and dated in bottom right hand corner but plan is badly damaged along bottom edge.
