Selkvik, the Under Secretary for Lands, dated 14 July 1920, regarding the two accompanying sketches of two Aboriginal bora grounds in the Moreton Bay by Surveyor General Oxley. Sketch no. "1": Copy of a drawing in field book no.216 Department of Lands containing original field notes by John Oxley Surveyor General in connection with survey of Moreton Bay dated 9th to 11th October 1824. Sketch no. "2": Copy of drawings in field book no.217 Department of Lands containing John Oxley's original field notes of his survey of Moreton Bay dated 11th September to 12th October 1824.

Green on white, semi-gloss program for 1964 production of 'As You Like It' performed at the Brisbane Arts Theatre from Thursday 4th June to Saturday 13th June at the Albert Hall. Autographed inside by most of the cast with one to Flloyd dated 10 Jun 1964. Three photocopied pages of newspaper cuttings regarding performances by the Brisbane Arts Theatre from 1963-1964. Flloyd Smith is in one of the cuttings in a chimpanzee suit.

This file is comprised of a letter and a booklet that accompanied the book, Seduction and betrayal : women and literature written by Elizabeth Hardwick. This book is held in the Fryer Library Rare Book collection and has an inscription from Patrick White to Christina Stead from 1974.

Typewritten (unsigned) letter, 2 pages, dated 16 Feb 1975 from Christina Stead to Patrick White. The letter is about Elizabeth Hardwick and her book, Seduction and betrayal : women and literature. At the end of the letter, handwritten in blue inital and all capitals is 'Horse - hare - rabbit'. The letter would appear to have never been posted.

The booklet is 'A catalogue of some books from the personal library of the late Christina Stead'. This catalogue originally accompanied book, Seduction and betrayal : women and literature by Elizabeth Hardwick.

There is an explanatory note from Louise Campbell about the letter and the booklet that were originally inserted into Seduction and betrayal.

Letters to Mary Anne Ruck from members of the Atkin family

This file is comprised of copies (handwritten and typed) of letters written by the Atkin family to Mary Anne Ruck. Newly weds, Robert and Mary Atkin, together with Robert's sister Grace Atkin and his mother Alice Atkin arrived in Brisbane on the vessel the Wansfell on 23 March 1865, from England. The vessel left on 11 November 1864. They travelled by steamer to Rockhampton and eventually settled at Herberts Creek about 100 km from Rockhampton. The letters cover the time in Central Queensland, before moving to Brisbane.

There is an exercise book of handwritten copies of the letters with the cover missing and bottom and side edges appearing to be burnt; 18 leaves of photocopies of typed copies of the letters rom 1865 to 1867 [?], with handwritten annotations in red pen; additional 5 leaves of photocopies of typed copies, no annotations with the title on the cover page 'Copies of letters written to Mrs. Ruck from Queensland 1865-1867 Mary G. [sic] Atkin, Robert L. Atkin, Grace I. [sic] Atkin'; 7 leaves handwritten notes about the letters; 'The Wansfell' (1 leaf printout from The Courier, 1865 Mar 24); 2 leaves (plus title pages) about the Wansfell (photocopies from 'Log of logs : Vol. 2' by Ian Nicholson).
