Copies of some of the photographs appear in J.W. Beattie's publication 'Glimpses of the lives and times of the early Tasmanian governors', where the photographs are attributed to J. W. Beattie. These photographs also appear to have been reproduced in Beattie's 'Governors of Tasmania : from 1804 to 1896'.
