Biographical history
Rosamond Maud Walden Nunn was born on 30 July 1921 at Boonah. Author and historian. Author of The Mayne Inheritance. One of the first women to enlist in the Women's Auxiliary Australian Air Force in World War Two. Married Aubrey Ernest Siemon on 1 January 1944. At the request of Sir Zelman Cowan, joined the UQ staff to start the UQ Alumni Association. Attained a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in 1989 and a Doctor of Philosophy in 1995. Established the Dr Rosamond Siemon Postgraduate Renal Research Scholarship at the University of Queensland. She died in 2020 at the age of 98.
