Faculty of Arts dance card

Faculty of Arts dance card for 5 July 1913, with light blue coloured yarn (16 cm). The pencil is missing. This double sided dance card is made of lightweight card. On the front of the dance card it has 'Faculty of Arts. Programme. University Hall, 5th July, 1913'. On the reverse, on the right hand side of the card, is the list of 15 'Dances', with their accompanying music. The dance included a supper break after dance number 8, with 2 'Extras'. On the left-hand side is 'Engagements' with names of all the dance partners penciled in.

University of Queensland St John's College dance card

St. John's College dance card for 26 June 1913, with small yellow pencil attached to card with yellow coloured yarn (17 cm). This dance card is made of lightweight card folded in the centre to make a booklet. The cover of the dance card has 'Programme. St. John's College. Brisbane' and the date on the front. Inside on the left-hand side is the 'Dances' listing 14 dances and accompanying music with the supper break midway. The right-hand side has 'Engagements' with space to write the name of dance partners for each dance. In addition to the 14 dances on this card, penciled in are additional dance partners (15 to 18) with 15 and 16 crossed out. The number 14 has been missed typed as 41.
