This carbon copy typescript recounts the story of Gaiarbau as told to Lindsay Winterbotham. In it Gaiarbau describes the form of tribal government, details of daily life, community, and relations with others outside of the community. This copy has many handwritten emendations. Illustrations consist of black and white photographs. Preface written by Norman B. Tindale. Index of contents is available at the end of the volume. Contents, as edited: Chapter I.
