Strike Fraser out

Circular orange badge with slogan 'Strike Fraser out' in black. At the 50,000-strong protest in Melbourne in November 1975 the Socialist Workers' Action Group sold over 600 copies of the new paper and hundreds of badges with their slogan “STRIKE FRASER OUT”.

Circular black badge with slogan 'Shame Fraser, shame' in white. The badge was worn by supporters of the Australian Labor Party during the 1975 election campaign. The campaign was fought against the background of the dismissal of the Whitlam Government which saw Malcolm Fraser lead the caretaker Liberal/National Country Party Government.

Election campaign leaflet authorised by the Brisbane Branch of the W.W.F. and printed by Production Press of Nundah. Leaflet has on one side: Support democracy, protect our parliamentary system, governments must be elected - not selected, support for your local A.L.P. candidate & the A.L.P. senate team will be support for Democracy, Vote A.L.P. Include a picture of Gough Whitlam with "The Real Prime Minister" underneath. On the reserve side is a cartoon and underneath it says: Australia's day of shame. Day of the long knives - 11 November 1975.
