Papers, photographs, and newspaper clippings related to the career of Elina Emily Mottram, first female architect in Queensland. The file is comprised of: Two black and white photographs dated at Elina Mottram's retirement ; One coloured photograph of Elina Mottram with a black dog ; One coloured photograph of Elina Mottram with Betty Preston ; Two newspaper articles, one titled 'Architect' (plus photocopy of same), one titled 'Architects Day' ; Coloured photocopy of photograph of Eagle Junction station ; Two handwritten notes giving provenance of the photographs ; Single-page biographical summary ; Two-page printout of employment record ; One invitation for the Queensland Museum 'Women of the West' exhibition, the published book of which included information on Elina Mottram ; and three-page extract from Queensland Heritage Register , File No 601171.

This collection has been arranged into three series and is comprised primarily of architectural drawings from the practice of Russell Hall Architects. There are 1709 drawings, 31 photocopied drawings, 1 cover sheet, 1 printed image, and 18 artistic sketches. Some of the more well known designs include: Varitomos Buildings in West End; the heritage listed Carpenter-Hall house in Wilston; Camp Island Lodge; the windmills in Toowoomba; Rialto Theatre Redevelopment; and Hall House, Mons. There are a few project records which list job numbers and clients. The final series in the collection has cartoons.

Drawings and papers of John Kershaw when in private practice and in partnership with R. W. Voller. Includes architectural drawings, job registers, diaries, appointment books, job files and photographs. .

Sixty two architectural drawings for twenty seven jobs. Two photograph albums: Photograph album, 1896 to 1908, ‘Family and historic photographs taken and developed by W C Voller, 1896 on', some photographs in this album were taken by Edward Day Bird; and Photograph album, ‘Family and historic photographs taken and developed by W C Voller, 1906 on’, 1906 – 1915. Some captions in this album by Walter Voller, others by one of his children. In these captions Ellen and Walter Voller are referred to as ‘Mum’ and ‘Dad’ and Roderic and Lilla by their first names. Kenneth Voller was born a few years after his siblings Rod and Lilla.

This collection comprises Don Watson’s various contributions to architecture in Queensland as a designer, historian, teacher and advocate. It includes papers relating to his work in creating the Queensland Architectural Archive within the Fryer Library; his work while with the University of Queensland Department of Architecture especially the lunch time lecture programs; the 'Architecture as a Community Art' public lecture program; and his work with Queensland University of Technology as a lecturer.
