The brother of Major Willy. His father was Avon Willy (also known as Willy Clegg), a Wakaya Elder and rainmaker. Tony was involved in the Wakaya-Alyawarre Land Claim. He had an outstation at a site known as Wukelyilmuru. He contributed to the research conducted by Paul Memmott and the Aboriginal Environments Research Centre in various locations around the Gulf Country region during the 1970s.
