History
Thought to be born in 1905 (though at least one source cites a birth year of 1910). Was a highly respected Warlpiri Elder. A key figure in the art movement at Yuendumu. Contributed to the research conducted by Paul Memmott and the Aboriginal Environments Research Centre in various locations around the Gulf Country region during the 1970s. Founding member of Warlukurlangu Artists in the 1980s. Before he died in 2005, he was thought to be the oldest Warlpiri man alive.
