History
Jack Punch was thought to have been born on 1 July 1907. He spent time as a ringer on Barkly Downs Station in west-central Queensland near the Northern Territory border. He was involved in the Wakaya-Alyawarre Land Claim. His country was Annuwarra estate. He contributed to the research conducted by Paul Memmott and the Aboriginal Environments Research Centre in various locations around the Gulf Country region during the 1970s. He died on 9 May 1999 and is buried at Mount Isa.
