Objectives - Repeal of all abortion laws, free abortion on demand, no forced sterilization, free sterilization on demand, free, safe contraception, sex education.

Notes: Formed nationally as a result of a Women's Electoral Lobby conference. The Queensland section became largely based on various campuses in the early 1980's. Part of Women's Campaign for Abortion against 1980 legislation. The Campaign shared the Women's Centre with Children by Choice until 1974. It then worked with the University of Queensland Women's Rights Committee until University of Queensland Union funds were restricted in regard to the abortion issue in 1978.
