History

Julius Wohlgemuth was active as a sawmiller in Rosewood from 1891. He was in partnership with August Spann, trading as Wohlgemuth & Spann. After his death, his share in the business went to his wife Caroline. In 1904 the partnership was dissolved and the sawmill then traded as Wohlgemuth & Co. In 1908 the business was sold to James O'Shea.
