Jack Webster was a member of the General Staff Association of Queensland since 1966 and was President between 1984-1986 and 1988-1990. He worked in the laboratories of the Dept of Mining and Metallurgical Engineering and the Dept of Clinical Studies & Vetinary Medicine. He served on the University of Queensland Senate since 1984.
