Draft typescript article written by Richard Fotheringham for The Australian Literary Review which was published with the title 'Inside the killing fields of Queensland' on October 6, 2010, pp. 12-13. This article was written after the discovery of a memoir by Thomas Davis, father of Arthur Hoey Davis (aka "Steele Rudd"), which discussed massacres of Australian Aborigines in his time of working in Queensland in the 1800s. Fotheringham suggested the name of the manuscript.

Draft typescript with handwritten emendations. This manuscript contains vocabularies for the Kabi-kabi, Wakka-wakka, Yugarabul and Yugumbir languages. The twelve page preface includes notes on grammar and pronunciation, pronunciation of letters, and grammar of the Yugumbir, Yugarabul and Wakka languages. The chapters: Vocabulary: English - Kabi and Kabi - English (78 leaves); Vocabulary: English - Yugumbir and Yugumbir - English (68 leaves); Vocabulary: English - Yugarabul and Yugarabul - English (29 leaves), Declension of a noun of the Yugarabul language (adapted from the work of Rev. W. Ridley) (1 leaf); Vocabulary: English - Wakka and Wakka - English (24 leaves); Some notes on the manners and customs of the aborigines of South East Queensland; Aboriginal place names of South-east Queensland; Index of names; and a map of south east Queensland. A railways map of south east Queensland has beeen coloured by Watson to show the lingual divisions and has the date of 1939.

It was published as a Supplement to the Journal of the Royal Geographical Society of Australasia (Queensland) no. 34, vol. XLVII in 1944.

Copy of a typescript paper of the opening address at the ANZAAS symposium on Aboriginal identity in contemporary Australian society - Brisbane - May 28, 1971, titled 'Aboriginal identity, government and the law' by WC Wentworth; 13 leaves; 1971? Differs slightly from the published version which appears in Aboriginal identity in contemporary Australian society edited by D Tugby (1973).

Photocopy of a handwritten account of Beryl Wharton, giving details of her life at Cherbourg mission, working life and the various places she lived. Undated. Author of account is a grandchild; name not supplied. There is a timeline of events in the life of Beryl are from 1924 to 1986; most likely this account was written in the late 1980s.

Handwritten and typed anthropological field notes, reports, correspondence between Kelly and the Department of Anthropology at the University of Sydney, and draft papers relating to various aspects of Kelly’s field work in Queensland Aboriginal communities. Titles of some of the papers include 'Christianity and the native', 'Religion', 'Fight among the Kaingbul', and 'Notes on the retention of ritual and customs among missionised natives'. There is one untitled paper in which the first line reads 'This paper forms portion of a study of the impact of European culture upon the Aborigines of New South Wales'.

Letters to Timothy Kelly from Caroline Kelly, from an original folder labelled Cherbourg letters. It is comprised of nineteen handwritten letters, twenty-one typescript letters and one incomplete letter. One of the typescript letters has attached a four leaf account of an event at Dinny Embury's [sic, should be Embery's] home. One letter started as a typescript but is mostly handwritten.
