History

In February 1964 the HMAS Voyager was sunk by a collision with its flagship HMAS Melbourne. Some persons were killed and many injured. Lengthy legal proceedings arose from this event. In 1990 the case of "Verwayen v Cth." was heard in the High Court Mr Verwayen won by a bare majority.
