Biographical history

Ralph Thomas Gore was born in Glen Innes, New South Wales in 1888, third child to Frederick Dundas Corbet Gore and Margaretta Stenhouse (nee Gunn). He held the office of Judge of the Supreme Court of Papua, 1928-1945, and Judge of the Supreme Court of Papua and New Guinea, 1945-1962. He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1953. Gore died on 11 August 1968.
