Kevin Robert Leyshon was born at Goomeri, Queensland on 4 July 1937. He received his commerce and accounting qualifications from the University of Queensland. He worked in various departments of the Queensland Public Service.

This collection contains notes, costings, correspondence, and architectural drawings related to the construction of two houses for Kevin and Betty Leyshon. The first house at Rossett Street, Chemside was designed by Dan Kelvey. The second house at Hunt Street, Burpengary was designed by Noel Robinson Built Environments.
