Glenn Cooke is an art historian, curator and collector. From 1981 to 2012 he was employed by the Queensland Art Gallery as an art researcher and curator. In this period he also curated exhibitions for other galleries and undertook independent research into visual artists and craftspeople associated with Queensland, focussing on their artistic output and the history of their works. He has published and presented extensively on aspects of Australian and English decorative arts and Queensland's visual art history. His personal collection of souvenir textiles is held by the State Library of Queensland.
