Biographical history

Anthony Christopher Lupi, born 20 February 1951, was a University of Queensland student in the 1970s and served as treasurer of the Social Work Students Association from 1973 to 1974. He was a committee member of the World University Service from 1972 to 1973 and spoke at various forums in opposition to the Vietnam war. He filmed the Aquarius Festival in Nimbin in May 1973 as an assignment for a second-year social work course. He edited the footage into the film Nimbin - let us be glad and rejoice. He graduated from the University of Queensland with Bachelor of Social Work with Honours in 1976. Now retired, he has remained active in social and environmental causes.
