Biographical history
Diane M Perkins received her Masters of Arts from the University of Queensland in 1994. Her thesis was titled 'Crime in the north-west 1925-1950'. The north-west is taken to include the following Shires: Barkly Tableland, Boulia, Burke, Carpentaria, Cloncurry, Croydon, Flinders, McKinlay, Winton, and Wyangarie. Special attention is given to the role and behaviour of women in the north-west.
