Biographical history
Leo Lenane was secretary of both the Brisbane chapter and the federal council of the Waterside Workers Federation, a member of the Communist Party and an opponent of the Vietnam War. In 1972 he was among a group of five Australian anti-war activists invited to tour North Vietnam.
