This collection comprises 149 microfilm reels of original content from the Avery Brundage Collection held in the University of Illinois Archives. North American source for the study of the modern Olympic movement. It includes extensive files on the International Olympic Committee; National Olympic Committees; sports federations and organizations; the Amateur Athletic Union; U.S. Olympic Association and Committee; Olympic Games and regional games. Also includes files relating to Olympic Games in Melbourne, 1956.
